What is a personal trainer?

A personal trainer is a qualified professional who is able to help a client meet their fitness goals, through their knowledge, skills and abilities. A personal trainer designs exercise programs and instructs exercise to help people reach their fitness goals which often include weight loss, improving sport performance or managing a health condition. This is usually carried out on a one to one basis or in a group setting.

Why do I need a personal trainer?

Old Latins used to say "Mens Sana in corpore sano", usually translated as "a healthy mind in a healthy body". This means that getting a personal trainer to help you reach your fitness goals is one of the best things you could do to improve your quality of life. 

How many times a week do I need a personal trainer? 

On average, most people do 1 - 2 sessions per week. This is decided on an individual basis taking into account individual circumstances.
